Simply Customer Management Privacy Policy

Overview

Simply Customer Management ("the App") is developed and maintained by YourTechGuys. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights in relation to that information.

            All customer data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device only.
            We do not operate any servers, and your customer records, transactions, and business data
            are never transmitted to us or any third party by us.
        

Information You Enter

The App allows you to store business-related information including, but not limited to:

Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses
Transaction records including amounts, dates, and notes
Product and service catalogues
Categories, tags, and custom labels
Your business name and preferences

All of this information is stored in a local database on your device using Android's Room database library. It is not accessible to YourTechGuys or any third party, except as described in the Advertising section below.

Data Export & Import

The App provides an Export feature that allows you to save your data as a JSON or CSV file to your device's storage. You may also share this file via third-party apps (e.g. email, cloud storage). Once exported and shared, the handling of that file is subject to the privacy policy of the app or service you choose to share it with.

We recommend keeping exported backup files secure, as they contain your customers' personal information.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain information from your device to serve personalised or non-personalised advertisements. This may include:

Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
IP address and approximate location
Device type, operating system version, and language
App interaction data for ad measurement and analytics

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.

You can opt out of personalised advertising or reset your Advertising ID at any time via your Android device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

Internet — required for AdMob to load and display advertisements. Your customer data is not transmitted via this permission.
Network State — used by AdMob to check connectivity before loading ads.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete individual customers, transactions, or other records at any time from within the App.

Uninstalling the App from your device will permanently delete all locally stored data. We recommend exporting a backup before uninstalling.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adults operating a business. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
